Arcata Fairy Festival 2025!

The 2024 Arcata Fairy Festival was a delightful day of whimsical merriment for all ages with 5,000+ participants from our local community and beyond making it a magical experience. There were 65 artisan vendors, 9 free interactive “lounges”, 17 performers on 2 stages including a Maypole dance, aerial silk shows, and a fire show, 4 kinetic sculptures visiting, 2 giant dragon sculptures, a parade led by a huge dragon puppet, a costume contest, HumBubbles, boffering arena, gnome dome, and so much more. With a very small organizing committee, we were unsure about the future for this festival until recently when we were honored to become partners with Playhouse Arts, Arcata’s Local Arts Agency. With the support, skills, and infrastructure of this incredible organization, we are excited to continue offering this beloved tradition!

Arcata Fairy Festival believes that with all that is going on in the world right now we need light, creativity, connection with each other, and spaces in which we feel happy and free to dance, play, and be. We know we are off to a late start, as it is currently April, but we already have so much enthusiasm bubbling up. We are making it happen! Businesses, individuals, and organizations are invited to play a crucial role bringing this family focused and free event to the community.
